Haiku!

Artie is right. I never bothered to look up the costumes for previous Haiku-Offs. Mell’s ninja outfit turned out pretty boss, though. I did spot colors only to save time, but they came out looking good, so no harm done.

I like that there are multiple haiku about Yak-Face.

  1. Artie’s footwear makes me think of Samurai Jack.  Now THAT would be a team-up … “Artie and Jack, Artie and Jack, Ar-TEE and Jack …”

  2. I’m pretty sure that Yak-Face has had more screen time in Narbonic than he did in Star Wars. He’s certainly more integral to the plot here. Does that mean that his appearance in RotJ was a prescient Narbonic cameo?

  3. Re: the weekday strips (since the comments section is full again):

I think Artie’s problem with love is that he just hasn’t met Sergio yet. I’m really hoping we get to see Artie and (adult!) Sergio meet in Skin Horse… and fall hard for each other.

“Artie kind of has a thing for Latin men.” Yeah, I’ll just bet he does.
