WCN

Yup, with six months left on Narbonic, I decided to take the archives out from behind a pay wall. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

The “Madness takes its toll” shirt came from a box of my aunt Kerry’s clothes from the ’70s. Frankly, it’s pretty boss.

  1. I think these are your most adorable drawings of yourself, especially the last panel.  So, now that you’ve taken over the world, is it everything you’d hoped for?

  2. Narbonic was the only reason I was still paying for Modern Tales at that point.  I still held on to my MT subscription for a while but it just never seemed worthwhile, and I ended up canceling it a few months later.

  3. I’m a new people who started reading after it was over, and I want to assure you this was definitely a good idea.  I know you guys need to eat too, but there are too many good free webcomics for me to spend my (very sparse) recreational money on even a great one.

  4. I agree wholeheartedly with Justin’s comment, as a fellow new people who started reading it after it was over. Particularly since I was effectively incapable of buying things over the internet in 2007, as I didn’t have my own credit card or PayPal account. I do like to buy webcomic collections, though — it’s just that there’s so many of them, between all the comics I read.
