The Art of Andre Richard, Mikko Rasa, and Kurt Tiede

Dirk and Kurt Tiede have almost palindromic names. I used to think Dirk was making Kurt up, because their names are just too amazing together, but then Kurt sent me this artwork, so he must be real. OR IS HE.
Anyway, thanks, everyone!
Jonathan Fisher says:
“I’m confused, did Beethoven set ‘Ode to Joy’ to music, or did he set “Darling Clementine” to music in his 9th? I get the lyrics a bit mixed up sometimes…”

Congratulations, Jonathan! You’ve broken my brain! I hope you’re happy…
Kurt’s art is very nice, though Mell’s posture is almost never that staid.
@Edwin: I know Schiller wrote the original poem; the filk uses Beethoven’s melody.

If I could visit great moments in history, the first performance of the 9th Symphony would be in my top 5.
From what I’ve read, it was certainly a very awesome and poignant moment. I wouldn’t mind having seen it either. Another music-related premier that I would love to have seen is the first performance of Berlioz’s Requiem, Op. 5. There’s nothing like hearing the master conducting one of his best works!
Argh I freaking love this art!! Especially Madblood’s pose with Lovelace. Aaaaagh it’s so good.
