The rule I learned from this is, don’t use the word “lascivious” in a script for Phil Foglio unless you mean it. This is such a great story, and it was so much fun to do. I can’t thank Phil and Kaja enough for all the support they’ve given me over the years.
Also, this story has the line, “Cyborg monkeys broke their programming,” which, in context, is probably one of the better things I’ve written.
How did I know for sure that this comic’s script was your work from the moment I read panel 2?
Foglio draws the Best. Babes. Ever.
And also draws reasonably attractive guys.
Phil Foglio? Lascivious? This is the man who came up with the XXXenophile comic and card game, after all. For years at San Diego ComicCon he wore a badge that said Gentleman Pornographer. I have many issues of XXXenophile signed by him.
He wore them at Norwescon in Seattle as well. Probably still does wear that badge at cons; I haven’t been able to go to one for way too long to know.
…
I’ll be in my bunk.
How did Dave know they weren’t named after Chris Sarandon? Maybe Artie’s a big Fright Night fan…
The creators of three of my favorite mad science webcomics working together? I think my head is about to explode from the awesomeness!
Phil’s version of Helen is exactly as awesome as I would have expected.
