Of course, nowadays people are as likely to pick that name because of Touhou’s reference as for the original works, so…

Lafcadio Hearn is in fact a fairly famous author, so I don’t know about that.

I think Yak Face going with Helen is a result of a previous Dave’s temporal meddling, one which caused a different timeline branching from a point where he gave up Yak Face to Momma Narbon for reasons we may never know. In this timeline Dave never dies, because if he had Mell would remember that he simply got better. Though our dave visited either President Mell’s timeline or a very similar one, she accidentally created a third timeline, after which Dave created a possible fourth timeline with having never smoked.

Er. The U.S. host a few gun nerds, too. Like, several millions gun nerds.
Of course, they’re not *cat* gun nerds, so you probably missed it .-D

I think they have a word for that in Japan: “ju-otaku”. (Literally “gun nerd” or “gun geek”.)

Yes, Japan is really strange, nyao… (And yes, there really are gun nerds in Japan. Masamune Shirow is one of them, actually, even though [or perhaps because] handguns are illegal in Japan for the most part…)
