I switched around the archives because I’d gotten some feedback that the load-time from one panel to the next was a bit off-putting, and it was driving people with slow Internet connections nuts.  If there’s enough demand for the “classic” archives, I might switch things back…

 

 

And the good news is that Scott McCloud has been sighted driving cross-country recently, so he seems to have finally escaped his exile.

ScottMcCloud was not afforded access to a competent attorney or even a competent videographer!

Scott McCloud was mugged by that neo-fascist punk Dave and his gaglette of (big deal, TWO) groupies. Dave accused, then Dave abused. Dave did notpresent evidence to support his accusations. Dave did not cite law in support of his actions. Dave did not even seek non-violent mediation to find common ground in a peaceful, mutually respectful resolution of the perceived conflict. Dave was not the one buried in the ground. So who is the real victim here?

And Cathy Andrews is actually kinda cute, insofar as a veritable “Life Be In It” line-drawing can be.

So in this story arc, a cartoonist tries to destroy various print strips using the resources of the up-and-coming webcomic Narbonic, and is banished to a distant dimension. Several years later, we get this.
