@ Shaenon: The Bill Mudron link goes to his art site, not to the “Anne Frank/Moon Nazis” story. (I can’t help but wonder what actual Holocaust survivors must think about that story. Frank is a Saint to most of them…)

I can only assume that Mr. Thompson took inspiration from a playing card in creating his sketch.
